Player to score – Kai Havertz: Southampton v Arsenal (5/4)

Kai Havertz made his long-awaited return from injury in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Newcastle United last weekend and could be given the opportunity from the start against Southampton to finish the 2024/25 Premier League campaign this weekend. The Gunners have missed the German as their first-choice centre forward.

Havertz has scored nine goals in 22 league games this season. The pressure will be off on Sunday with Southampton already relegated and Arsenal sure of their place in the top five. This could be the perfect setting for Havertz to find the back of the net since the early February demolition of Manchester City.

Under 2.5 total goals – Nottingham Forest v Chelsea (6/5)

Champions League qualification will be on the line for both Nottingham Forest and Chelsea when they meet at the City Ground on Sunday. The hosts need other results to go their way to make the top five while Chelsea just have to match or better Aston Villa’s result against Manchester United to make their position stick.

Forest enter this season-defining match on the back of a crucial away win over West Ham, but this was their only victory in their last four games in all competitions. Chelsea, meanwhile, have won four of their last five league matches are in a good position to qualify for the Champions League.

Match to be a draw – Ipswich Town v West Ham (11/4)

Ipswich Town’s relegation from the Premier League was sealed weeks ago, but Sunday’s match could still be an enjoyable farewell to the top flight for the Tractor Boys. West Ham have also endured a bleak season. Unlike Ipswich, though, they won’t relish much about Sunday’s game. They just want the campaign to be over.

Kieran McKenna’s team are without a win in their last seven games. The Hammers, meanwhile, have won just one of their last 10 matches with questions over Graham Potter’s position as manager growing. This could be a case of both teams finishing their respective seasons with a whimper.

Both teams to score – Athletic Club v Barcelona (4/9)

Athletic Club might not have made the Europa League final at their own stadium, but they have still qualified for next season’s Champions League, finishing in La Liga’s top four. Barcelona are also in celebratory mood at the moment after being crowned Spanish champions two weeks ago.

The Basque hosts are unbeaten in 26 of their last 28 league matches and so this weekend’s trip to San Mames will be a challenging one for the champions. However, Barca have the most fearsome attacking line in European football. Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and co. will pose a threat.
