Ipswich Town will host Leicester City on Saturday in a meeting between two promoted sides at Portman Road. After a slow start to the Premier League season, the Foxes have won two of their last three matches and will fancy their chances of extending that positive run this weekend. Jamie Vardy has scored four league goals this season, including two in his last two outings. Only Wolves have conceded more goals than Kieran McKenna’s team this season, so Leicester City will almost certainly have opportunities to find the back of the net. Vardy could convert one of them.

Over 2.5 total goals – Borussia Dortmund v RB Leipzig (4/9)

This weekend, Nuri Sahin needs a positive result to ease the growing pressure on the Borussia Dortmund manager. RB Leipzig, meanwhile, is flying high at the top end of the Bundesliga, with Marco Rose’s team currently joint on points with Bayern Munich. Saturday’s game could have a big impact on both sides. Over 2.5 goals have been scored in Dortmund’s last six league matches. Over 2.5 goals have also been scored in Dortmund’s last seven home matches against RB Leipzig in all competitions. All of the whim points to Saturday’s meeting at the Westfalenstadion as entertaining. There should be goals.

Match to be a draw – Bournemouth v Manchester City (17/5)

Bournemouth came into this weekend’s match against Manchester City after an impressive win over Arsenal and a draw away to Aston Villa. Andoni Ireola’s team will be able to hold their own against the defending Premier League champions in terms of their possession use and will fancy their chances of another positive result. While City have won each of their last three league games, they have done so unconvincingly. Fulham, Wolves and Southampton have all caused Pep Guardiola’s team problems recently, and Bournemouth could be the next opponent to land a punch. The Cherries have lost just once at home this season.

Both teams to score – Tottenham v Aston Villa (21/50)

Tottenham Hotspur have struggled for consistency this season. While Ange Postecoglou’s team beat Manchester City in the Carabao Cup during the weekend, they also lost to Crystal Palace a few days ago. Only twice in 14 matches this season, though, have Spurs failed to find the back of the net. Meanwhile, Aston Villa has failed to score in just two of its 14 matches in all competitions this season. Its two centre forwards, Jhon Duran and Ollie Watkins, are in prime scoring form. Spurs have kept just one clean sheet at home in the league this season, and Villa could cause them problems.

Manchester United hope the new (interim) manager bounce under Ruud van Nistelrooy will continue against Chelsea after beating Leicester City in the Carabao Cup during the week. However, Chelsea entered Sunday’s match having won four of their last six matches in the Premier League. Nicolas Jackson has found the back of the net in his last two games and will be a threat behind the Manchester United defensive line on Sunday. The van Nistelrooy factor can make Sunday’s match unpredictable, but Chelsea’s recent form suggests they will be favourites.
