SWINDON

The highlight on Swindon’s 12-race card is an A2 at 11:56 and while, for some, it may be a little early for Brandy, Paul Foster’s Snaffi Brandy (T5) looks to hold all the aces after two solid recent efforts and this classy dog won’t have to be at his best to beat this mediocre bunch. That said Harrys Daydrem (T1) boasts strong A1 form and didn’t get much luck in running last time so a case can be made for this November ‘16 bitch who seeks a sixth win.

Magical Lesley (T4) put up a decent display on her first try round six bends (last time) when staying on well after a particularly slow start and if trapping well today, Angie Kibble’s inmate has valid claims in the S2 event at 12:26.

NEWCASTLE

Supa Hot (T3) has clocked up the swiftest times of any of these in Newcastle’s 16:07 and will be a warm order to claim an eighth win for trainer Jimmy Fenwick in this A1 feature. Moanteen Lexi (T2) moves in from trap three and it will be interesting to see if this July 18 pup can handle the step up in grade after impressing last time when always leading to win her most recent start in an A2. Roseville Gene (T6) is another to throw into the mix in a contest that is wide open. Maybe a 3-6-2 tricast is the order of the day!

High St Brute (T1) is in good form after winning a Handicap last time and should be able to take advantage of the step back down in grade in the A4 at 17:39.

NOTTINGHAM

There’s plenty of Handicap fare at Colwick Park this evening and Bit View Nancy (T5) was unlucky not to score last time so if getting a clear run, Elaine Savill’s bitch could be hard to peg back in the 18:55 and gain a tenth career victory.

Belle Vue trainer Jill Llewellin has a great chance with Quivers Fancy (T5) in the 19:09 while Swift Jingle (T2) hails from the same kennel and deserves to get her head in front in the 20:44 following two gallant efforts in defeat.

Honour Goldikova (T1) is back from a break but is the class act in the A2 at 20:13 and this eleven time winner from Adrian McPherson’s kennel has bags of early pace and looks win material in the red jacket.
