He was very taking on debut, winning a shade cosily and he's sure to come on for that debut. He looks a big imposing 2yo and it's notable that's he pitched into this company on just his second start. Capable of a bold show, and receives weight from the jolly.

SIR RON PRIESTLY is the mover in the St Leger this afternoon. You know what you're getting with Mark Johnston's 3yo, he'll battle all the way to the line and brings in a decent standard. He's a certain stayer, too, so he looks to bring the solid profile here against those with potential at the head of the market.

MADHMOON is the best backed horse in the Irish Champion Stakes and he looks to have a great chance. This is probably his best trip and he should be primed for today having got his head back in front last month. He looks to be the pick of the 3yos and punters seem confident he'll be in the first three at least!

With main market rival Hermosa extraordinarily weak, the best backed horse at Leopardstown today is LAURENS. Her form is there for all to see and she's the one punters want over in Ireland today to retain this race.
