Market Movers – 24th August

August 24, 2019

GOODWOOD

Skardu

2.05pm
7/4 from 2/1

SKARDU has hardened at the head of the market for this Celebration Mile. He probably boasts the best form in the book of these, for all that some are improving, with a series of cracking efforts at Group 1 level (including a 3rd in the 2000 Guineas) and punters aren't trying to overcomplicate it. Richard Hannon's Beat Le Bon opposes today, and you can read Richard's blog here.

YORK

Le Brivido

3.00pm
9/2 from 7/1

This looks to be LE BRIVIDO's optimum trip given his efforts over a furlong more and a furlong less and, with Aidan O'Brien already among the winners this week, punters will be hoping this one can score today following good support. He won the Jersey Stakes over this trip as a 3yo and it will be interesting to see how he gets on today.

Raheen House

3.40pm
11/2 from 15/2

RAHEEN HOUSE is the gamble in the first ever £1million Ebor. He looks to have been trained with this race in mind by that man William Haggas who loves a winner at York. We're paying AN EXTRA PLACE on the race too.

BIGGEST LOSERS IN THE BOOK TODAY

Raheen House followed closely by Laurens!
