DUCHESS OF AVON didn't fire in a valuable race last time up but she ran well from off the pace to finish 2nd to a run away winner who got clear on the front that day. That would suggest there's a win in her sooner rather than later on this mark. This represents a drop in Class and the 7lb claim will help. Could even go off clear fav with any further support.

Bottom weight QAYED is having just his second run for this yard and returns to the All-Weather with cheekpieces applied. He's yet to win a race, which might explain the price, but you can see why optimistic punters have nibbled each-way given he's unexposed for this yard and receives weight from most of the field. Likely to outrun lofty odds, an with AN EXTRA PLACE on offer with us!

SIR DRAGONET is a real steamer for the St Leger for that man Aidan O'Brien. The 3yo wasn't beaten far in the Investec Derby before disappointing last time out but he's clearly well thought of and there's been plenty of money around for him in the past 24 hours. We can still remember the Ten Sovereigns Newmarket smash-up for these connections and look how that one turned out!

GHAIYYATH is a huge mover for the Arc over the weekend and into this week following a dominant Group 1 success over in Germany. Enable is taking up a huge chunk of the market but she arguably should have been beaten in the race last year and punters who want to take her on have come for this Godolphin runner in a big way in the last couple of days.
