Sandown Park Maiden races are usually decent affairs and SINJAARI ran an eye-catching race in one last summer. He hasn't been seen since, and has changed from Ed Dunlop to William Haggas, but he's probably showing plenty at home because he is our best backed of the day.

ALWAYS TIPSY has the assistence of a 10lb claim today and has been plummetting at the weights. He won on this very card last year, albeit over fences, and the yard's two others in the race are drifters. A return to form is required and we've seen each-way support in this eight runner race.
3.20pm 2/1 from 11/4
This looks a cracking Novice Stakes at Windsor but it's DAYS OF GLORY who's now vying for favourtism following strong support. The $300,000 purchase was 2nd to a good type when last season and is the sort who could have done well over the winter.

Scottish Grand National 10/1 from 16/1
VINTAGE CLOUDS came down at the first obstacle in last Saturday's Grand National and he's out for a quick re-appearance judging by the strong support we've seen for him over the weekend. A strong stayer, he was actually 3rd in the Scottish National last season. A year older, he can run another big race up at Ayr on Saturday – if he runs!
