Happy Romance (Sean Levey)
She ran a fantastic race in Saudi last time and has thrived since then. This is a decent race but she’s in fantastic form and the drop back in trip won’t be a problem because there will definitely be a strong pace and she’ll be staying on at the end.
Fancy Man (Thore Hammer Hansen)
He’s been in good form on the All Weather and has always been a smart colt. He ran well in the Winter Derby last time and on that form it’s hard to see past him.
Robjon (Liam Browne)
He hasn’t run since August but was very consistent all last season and this is about his trip. He’s plenty high enough in the weights but Liam’s claim helps eradicate that and we gelded him over the winter. This looks a good starting point and he’s the sort of horse who could improve this season,
Persian Force (Rossa Ryan)
He’s a very speedy colt by Mehmas who is quite forward and knows his job well. Obviously they are all unknowns but he’s sharp and should go well.
Chindit (Rossa Ryan)
He’s a classy horse who has always run to a high standard and his work has been very good coming into this. On form he’s the one they have to catch and this looks a good starting point for the year.
Teodolina (John Egan)
She’s a tough little filly with a great attitude and this race has been the plan for a while. The ground is a slight concern, because she’s arguably better with a bit of cut, but she’s very consistent and goes there with a solid each way shout.
