He’s run three solid races this term and is definitely due a winning opportunity. The handicapper has kept him on the same mark, and this is a step up in grade, so he does have to produce a career best, but he’s in good shape and will handle the ground.

 

NEWMARKET

Logi Bear (Sam Hitchcott)

He showed good form in the summer, but his form has tailed off quite a lot since and I couldn’t be confident backing him in a race like this. He’s qualified to run and still looks well in his coat so could run well at big odds if getting some luck.

 

WOLVERHAMPTON

Vintage Heat (Alec Voikhansky)

He ran well in his first Handicap last time and we’re going up a bit in trip. Stall three should be ideal and with Alec’s 3lbs claim, he could be well treated in race that probably won’t take much winning.

King Of Cities (Sean Levey)

He deserved to win the G3 Strensall Stakes last time, off the back of some unlucky efforts in defeat, and that race has worked out very well with the second, Boiling Point, winning the Cambridgeshire. This is obviously a step back up in grade but he’s already proven he’s an extremely capable colt and I’m happy with his condition.
