Lost Signal (Joe Fanning)

He’s a very nice colt who shows enough at home to suggest he has a very bright future, and he’s got a lovely pedigree to match. I have to admit, this could end up being a very strong Maiden, but he’s ready to go and I’m hopeful of a solid run. My only concern is the ground because he’s a big colt, so we wouldn’t want it lightening quick.

Talis Evolvere (Alec Voikhansky)

I thought he ran a great race at Newcastle last time and he’s come out of it absolutely bouncing! The Handicapper has kept him on the same mark and Alec takes a few pounds off as well, so he’s quite well treated. A stiff seven furlongs is his optimum and I’m happy with his condition.

Signcastle City (Joe Leavy)

He’s generally very consistent and wasn’t beaten that far at Yarmouth last time behind Unassuming who is weighted to confirm that form. But this is a different day on a different track and he’s been freshened up nicely so should hopefully go well.

Meblesh (Sean Levey)

I was delighted with him at Lingfield last time, in what could’ve been a muddling race, but Joe gave him a great ride and he clearly appreciated the better ground after running below par at Epsom on Soft. He gets this trip well and I think he’s more than capable of winning off this mark.

Mums Tipple (Sean Levey)

He finally came down to a winnable mark when scoring at York but the Handicapper whacked him back up again to 86 and he was disappointing at Chepstow after that, for which I can find no reason why. He does have a good record at Ascot, though, and if things go his way, he could easily go close, but who knows!

Rebel Empire (Joe Leavy)

He’s a proper six furlong specialist who put up a solid effort at Lingfield last time. All his wins have been on the All Weather, but he’s equally effective on turf, and Joe has won on him twice before.
