Richard Hannon: “I will be disappointed if he is not capable of winning this”

1:10 Maiden

Geopolitic (Ryan Moore)

He’s a very nice colt by Mehmas who has done everything right at home and this looks a good starting point. We’ve taken him away to gallop and he worked very well so should know his job and I’m looking forward to getting him out.

Thunder Max (Rossa Ryan)

He’s by our Guineas winner Night Of Thunder out of a half sister to the classy Circumvent so is bred to be winning races and everything he’s done at home has been very good. I do think he’ll improve for the experience but he’s ready to go and should run well.

1:40 Listed

Razzle Dazzle (Andrea Atzeni)

I was very impressed with him at Newmarket last time where he clearly showed the benefit of having a run and he’s a colt we hold in very high regard. This looks a decent Flying Scotsman but this lad has always shown smart form at home and is also displaying it on the track so I’m hopeful of a bold show.

2:10 G2 Flying Childers

Armor (Ryan Moore)

He ran a brilliant race in the G1 Prix Morny when only going down by a couple of lengths and his form is top notch so I’ll be disappointed if he’s not capable of winning this. He handles his racing very well and has won over course and distance, therefore it’s difficult to find a chink in his armor (see what I did there!) and he is a very worthy favourite.
