Robjon (Ross Ryan)
He was a little disappointing for me last time because I hoped he’d run much better but maybe he needed the run so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. The step back down in trip might help but he is becoming expensive to follow.
System (Sean Levey)
She’s dropping down the handicap and could be off quite a handy mark now. Her form is particularly smart and she’s very battled hardened so deserves to be thereabouts. She’s already a Listed winner so is valuable as a broodmare when the time comes but she’s got a lot in her favour today.
Byker (Rossa Ryan)
Without discrediting him, he’s quite a slow horse but he’s going over a decent trip here for his debut and I’m hoping he can show something. He is a nice horse and will get better with experience so I do think he’ll come on a lot for the run in every way.
Mugader (Sean Levey)
He’s a very nice horse, him, who ran well on his first start at Wolverhampton in February and has improved a lot at home since. He’s a big, likeable colt who we looked after last year, and over a trip like this, I think he could develop into a very smart animal. I’d like to think he’d have a big chance here.
Ellade (Sean Levey)
She started her career with Mark Johnston and it took a while to get her head in front for us but she did so at Lingfield last time and hopefully she’ll run well again but this looks an extremely competitive Handicap so she needs to pull a little more out of the fire.
