IT is the second day of the Christmas Festival at Kempton headlined by the Desert Orchid Chase and the Welsh Grand National is the feature at Chepstow where conditions are likely to be testing. Thankfully the deluge forecast for Chepstow might not be as severe as predicted on Christmas Eve with 33mm then expected on raceday, whilst the course at the time of writing will get 17mm on the current good to soft this may still improve.
