The reigning Champions and the favourite to land the title again this year. Goes about his business in a really attractive style and the one they've all got to beat.

 

Liverpool – Pleasant Company

Showed real promise last year and fans will be really hopeful he can go better this year. Will stay on strongly on the run in and looks to have a better chance against Tiger Roll this time around.

Tottenham Hotspur – Mall Dini

Suspicions he's becoming a bit of a nearly horse, but definitely capable and is managed by a fine handler.

 

Arsenal – Anibale Fly

Managed by a tactician, plenty of ability but has a tendency to stay on strongly when it's all too late!

 

Chelsea – Don Poli

Former heavyweight who was competing at the highest level. Badly out of sorts recently.

 

Manchester United – One For Arthur

This past Champion is looking to reclaim former glory after a spell in the doldrums.

New kid on the block and a bit of an unknown. Sumptuous if a bit surprising this year!

Watford – Rathvinden

Very respectable form and will be primed for one day. This is his Wembley!

 

Leicester City – Vintage Clouds

He might just lack a little bit of quality but he's a likeable runner that has stamina in abundance and is guaranteed to show 'great character'. 

 

Everton – Minella Rocco

Has become rather inconsisent, if not downright disappointing. Has promised more and his fans will be demanding a return to form on Saturday!

 

West Ham – Ballyoptic

Somewhat inconsistent but capable enough on his day on known form. In good nick and has a cracking set of claret and blue colours.

 

Bournemouth – Regal Encore

Was really exciting when bursting on the scene a few years back. Has pulled off some big results but never really kicked on from the initial promise.

 

Crystal Palace – Warrior's Tale

Possesses plenty of pace and has a legend of the game handling him. Might struggle to do better than finishing in the pack.

 

Newcastle – Outlander

Used to be pretty decent and was capable of beating the best on a going day. That time has now gone, and he's very much up for sale too!!

 

Brighton – Walk In The Mill

Consistent and likeable sort who will give his all and it's hard not to wish him well. Proudly sports blue colours.

Southampton – Dounikos

Had a bad start to the season but just hitting a little bit of form of late. Dons red and white.

 

Burnley – Lake View Lad

Gritty, dour Northern raider. Will offer 100% effort and is likely up for a battle to compensate for a slight lack in quality.

 

Cardiff – Ramses De Teillee 

Best known form has come in Wales.

 

Fulham – Go Conquer

Recent change of handler brought about a small amount of improvement. No evidence to suggest he's up to this level, though.

 

Huddersfield – Step Back

Badly out of sorts this year, has to prove last year's efforts weren't a fluke!
