Football live stream and betting: Watch Milan vs Lazio in Coppa Italia

Unibet UK|17 April 2019

Milan vs Lazio is the big match from Italy on Wednesday, April 24 as the two giants collide in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg.

And this fixture could not be better poised as the first leg in Rome was drawn 0-0.

This second leg sees Milan — largely seen as a fallen giant in Italian football — go up against a Lazio side seeking their third Coppa Italia triumph of the decade.

It all kicks off at 19:45 BST on Wednesday, April 24 and you can live stream football and bet in play here with Unibet!

Milan vs Lazio live stream and betting tips

Milan slight favourites

Milan head into this clash having arguably done the hard work by keeping Lazio at bay in the first leg in February. Fast forward two months and that 0-0 draw was maybe not as impressive as first thought.

The draw came during a 10-game unbeaten streak that Milan enjoyed between January and March but which has since come to an end. In its place, Milan have lost three of their last six games, meaning just a solitary win.

Now, that victory did come against Lazio earlier this April as Franck Kessie scored a 79th-minute penalty to earn a 1-0 triumph. It wasn’t pretty but they got the job done.

That result seems to have instilled some faith in punters that Milan can win this second leg at the San Siro. That’s why they are 2.55 favourites to win inside 90 minutes.

Lazio a strong outside bet

While many betting fans will watch the football live stream and back Milan for the win, the smart price may well be on Lazio.

Lazio are only four points off Milan in the battle for the Champions League spots. But in reality they are unlikely to make it to fourth place in Serie A. Europa League qualification may also be a struggle, so there is reason for Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi to pile everything into winning the Coppa Italia.

Lazio are 2.80 to beat Milan but also head into this game in terrible form. One win in five only tells half the story, with Lazio losing 2-1 to rock-bottom Chievo last weekend. That was a shocking result and effectively ended their European aspirations via the league route.

Can Lazio beat Milan? Two draws and a defeat this season says no. But the Rome club have great pedigree in the Coppa Italia and Milan have the Champions League to worry about.

Expect Gattuso to make changes for this game and that could well give Lazio an edge. A draw in 90 minutes is priced at 3.30.

Atalanta vs Fiorentina – Thursday, April 25 at 19:45 BST

The other semi-final this week sees Atalanta host a Fiorentina side who are desperate to salvage their poor Serie A season with a cup win. Fiorentina are out of the European battle, while Atalanta have a very real chance of making the Champions League next season.

These sides shared a frantic 3-3 draw in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final and football betting fans can expect goals here as well.

Both want to make it to the final and it is Atalanta at 1.75 who are the favourites to win. They are on a nine-game unbeaten streak which includes beating Fiorentina 3-1 at home. A repeat scoreline is priced at 12.00. But the best bet may well be for both teams to score at 1.62.
