But Selby then faces Judd Trump in his last match of the day and is the 1.95 outsider to win that one. Punters looking to back on a winner here should probably stay away from Selby.

Higgins hopeful

Scotland’s John Higgins faces Stuart Bingham tonight knowing a win is crucial to making it into the semi-finals. The Scot has endured a rocky Championship League snooker campaign and earlier on Wednesday lost a thriller to Martin Gould 3-2. The Higgins vs Bingham live stream is definitely worth watching!

Robertson the big bet

Fresh off successes earlier this year, Neil Robertson is the big bet here. He sits top of the Championship League final group after two wins from two, beating Jack Lisowski and Mark Selby both by a 3-1 scoreline.

Robertson plays Higgins at 11am on Thursday, March 14 — and then Gould at 2pm UK time. One win there will see him safely through. And he could well win both matches!

Championship League snooker final start time

The Championship League snooker semi-finals and final get underway in the afternoon of Thursday, March 14.

The semi-finals will both be played around 6pm UK time, with the final taking place shortly after.

Because matches are short — best of five frames — the final may well start around 8pm.
