Instead of having a scheduled start time, a Sit and Go tournament begins as soon as the required number of players are registered. Sit and Go tournaments are always available. SNG tickets can be used to join a SNG tournament instead of using cash.

Freezeout

The most common kind of poker tournament; once play begins, you don’t get a second chance. Pay your buy-in, get your chips and play until you win them all (or you have none left!).

Multi-buy

Want a double, triple or quadruple starting stack? Multiply your buy-in two, three, or even four times.

Freeroll

Freeroll tournaments cost nothing to enter, but some may require an invitation or condition to be fulfilled (e.g. earning a particular achievement). Unibet offers hourly freeroll tournaments with ticket or cash prizes every day.

Guaranteed Tournament (GTD)

In this type of tournament, the total prize pool is guaranteed by us, regardless of how many players register. Player buy-ins go towards the prize pool, and if they don't meet the guaranteed amount, we cover the rest. If the total of buy-ins exceeds the guaranteed amount, the prize pool grows even bigger!

Satellites

Win a seat in a big buy-in tournament or live event by investing a small amount of money. These tournaments are available in many formats, but they all offer entry into a larger tournament as a prize.

Bounty Tournament

Bounty tournaments are available in many formats and will reward you for eliminating either a specific player, any player or multiple players.

Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) Tournaments

Pot Limit Omaha Poker is very similar to Texas Hold’em. In Omaha poker you get four hole cards - you combine two of these with three community cards to make your hand. This means more exciting tournaments, more playable situations, and more chances to consider your best strategical play!

After you qualify for a tournament, your ticket will appear in the Tickets section of your poker client (under the Gift icon).

It may take up to 2 hours for the ticket to appear.

It depends on the type of ticket:

• Group Ticket: If your ticket is for a group of tournaments (e.g. Unibet Open satellites), you can unregister from one tournament and use the ticket for another in the same group.

The tournament must: Have the same buy-in and Start before the ticket expires

• Tournament-Specific Ticket: If your ticket is for one specific tournament, you cannot transfer or reuse it. If you miss the tournament, no compensation is provided.

In the unfortunate event of a multi-table or Sit & Go tournament being cancelled due to a problem in the Unibet poker software these rules will kick in depending on the state of the tournament.

52. The tournament is canceled before the start:

• The players will be refunded the tournament buy-in and fee in full including any multientries. In case of registration by a ticket, this ticket will be re-credited.

53. The tournament has started but players are not “in the money yet” (reached the prizes):

• The remaining players will be refunded their fee including re-buy and add-on fees.
• The player supplied pot is split into two equal pools. The first pool will be distributed equally between all remaining players. The second pool will be distributed between allplayers in proportion to their chip count.
• Exception: if the Tournament is a freeroll the added prize pool is divided even if it's not a player supplied pot.

54. The tournament has started and players are “in the money” (have reached the prizes):

• The remaining players will be refunded their fee including re-buy and add-on fees.
• If players are not on the final table each player will receive the lowest remaining prize and the rest of the pot is distributed in proportion to their chip count.
• If players are on final table the prize pool will be redistributed according to the ICM (Independent Chip Model) chop, if they are in the money.
• If the tournament paid out non-monetary values, (like tickets, freespins or seats), the prize pool will be converted to regular funds and distributed accordingly.

In the unfortunate event of a HexaPro tournament being cancelled due to a problem in the Unibet poker software these rules will kick in:

55. HexaPro tournament cancellation policy

• The fee is returned for all remaining players
• All remaining players receive 10% of the prize pool
• Remaining prize pool is distributed according to ICM (Independent Chip Model) chop.

If cancelled tournament is a bounty tournament then player is given his own bounty value.

We reserve the right to alter cancellation payouts or to alter this policy.

In case of disputes, Unibet management decision will be final.
